If you’re looking for a great deal on a burger at happy hour, Slater’s 50/50 doesn’t have them. They do have some at lunch, but they’re not any of the ones with all the crazy toppings.
But you can always do what we’ve done, which is go during happy hour for the discount drinks and the discount apps but then pair it with a full-price burger.
On a recent trip, we tried the limited-time Golden Feast meal with some cocktails and hard cider.
First up, the drinks –
For cocktails, we tried the Slater’s Spiked Limeade and the Sucker Punch.

For the cider, it was a mango flavored option currently on the menu.

The cider was great. But the cocktails were just so-so. And their beer menu is insanely long. (only like three wine options total though)
Of the two cocktails, the Sucker Punch was better tasting. The Spiked Lemonade tasted mostly like cheap vodka.
From the happy hour menu, we tried the loaded bacon chili cheese fries. Note: this isn’t on the online menu and there were lots more loaded fries option in the restaurant.

If you’re into chili cheese fries (and who isn’t?!) then these are MUST TRY! The fries have just the right amount of crispiness so they don’t get soggy.
And that bacon chili is outta this world.
Anyways, since there are no burgers on the happy hour menu, we planned on trying one from the regular menu.
But then we saw this…

For a limited time, this gets you the 24K burger with white truffle mac & cheese, fried pickles, and a bacon mac & cheese ball – for the price of $35.
We shared this and there was no sharing charge, just an FYI.

The burger was amazing, though I would’ve preferred for the bacon to have been crispy. And the white truffle mac & cheese was also a winner.

The bacon mac & cheese ball is filled with more Kraft dinner-style mac & cheese, so it was okay. Decent fried pickles, though they were elevated by the mustard dip.

But was it the best burger in Vegas? If the bacon was crispy, maybe?
The Harlo Burger on the Harlo happy hour might be better? And it’s cheaper…but that one comes with zero sides.
Slater’s 50/50 definitely has some of the best burgers in the city though. And who knows, maybe we’ll try more of their burgers and find one that takes the crown!

Have you tried their burgers?
